The 13th annual Dismal Swamp Stomp Running Festival is a perfect blend of fitness, family and charity that provides a great opportunity for businesses to connect and interact directly with a desired audience. It is also a great way for families, and individuals, not only businesses, to get involved with the community while helping others.  
• The race attracts runners from throughout the region, state, and east coast, to the area
• Great run highlighting the best of the Great Dismal Swamp Canal Trail and the city of Chesapeake
• Great post race party with entertainment, great local brews from Big Ugly Brewing, live entertainment and food from local vendors
• We encourage Sponsors to set up a display at the event, we provide the table/tent, so sponsors may interact with all participants,
spectators and volunteers

The Dismal Swamp Canal Trail off Route 17 offers runner forested wetlands and a peaceful paved path along the wilderness of the Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge. Runners can opt for half marathon, 5K, or kids half mile distances

Dismal Swamp Stomp offers all of the perks of larger races minus the big crowds. If you're tired of feeling like a herd of cattle, you'll love Dismal Swamp Stomp!

Custom race T-shirt, finisher medal for all. Custom carved heron awards to overall and age group winners. $4,000 in prize money to the top 5 overall male and female age graded winners in the half marathon.
